What it is
Dermal fillers are injectable gels - most commonly hyaluronic acid, a substance your body already produces - that restore volume and refine facial contours. Unlike neuromodulators, fillers don't affect muscle movement. They physically rebuild the structure that time and gravity have softened.
Our team works with multiple filler families: Juvéderm Voluma, Vollure, and Volux; Restylane Lyft, Defyne, and Contour. Each formulation carries a specific lift capacity and flow pattern, selected for the task it does best - cheek projection, midface volume, jawline definition, chin projection, tear trough correction, or smoothing nasolabial folds and marionette lines. For lip filler denver residents frequently request, we draw on lighter, more pliable formulations that add definition and hydration without overfilling.
Luxe Forté is Cherry Creek's destination for dermal filler denver patients seek from across the metro. Our studio at 36 Steele St, Suite 100 draws clients from Cherry Creek North, Country Club, Congress Park, Belcaro, Hilltop, Hale, Capitol Hill, Washington Park, and beyond - most within a ten-minute drive. We're located on Steele Street directly across from the Cherry Creek Shopping Center, with Fillmore Plaza steps away.
Many clients also explore Lip Fillers and Sculptra. For dosing, longevity, and aftercare in depth, see our Dermal Fillers Guide.
What to expect
Appointments take 30 to 45 minutes depending on areas treated. Most fillers contain lidocaine for comfort, and we use topical numbing on deeper injection points. You'll see results immediately - the lift and contour are visible as soon as you sit up. Expect swelling that peaks at 24 to 48 hours and mild bruising is possible.
Avoid blood-thinning medications, alcohol, and high-dose fish oil for 24 hours before. After your appointment, skip heavy exercise, saunas, and pressing on treated areas for 48 hours. Results settle fully around two weeks and typically last 12 to 24 months depending on product and area.

Service FAQs

At what age should I start getting fillers?
There's no magic age - it depends on your individual anatomy and concerns. Some patients in their twenties use filler for lip enhancement or to address undereye hollows, while others start in their thirties or forties to restore lost volume. A consultation will help determine if filler is right for you now.
Is there downtime after getting fillers?
Most patients experience mild swelling and possible bruising for two to five days, depending on the area treated. Lips tend to swell the most initially. You can typically return to normal activities immediately, though we recommend avoiding intense exercise for 24 to 48 hours.
What happens if I don't like my filler results?
Hyaluronic acid fillers - which include most popular brands like Juvederm and Restylane - can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase. This gives you a safety net that other cosmetic procedures don't offer. Results can be adjusted or reversed within a day.
How long do dermal fillers last?
Longevity depends on the specific filler used and the treatment area. Lip fillers typically last six to twelve months, while cheek and jawline fillers can last twelve to eighteen months or longer. Your provider will recommend the best product based on your goals and desired timeline.
Can I combine dermal fillers with other treatments?
Yes, fillers work beautifully when combined with other aesthetic treatments for comprehensive facial rejuvenation. Many clients pair fillers with neuromodulators like Botox or Dysport to address both static and dynamic lines. Fillers also complement skin treatments like chemical peels or laser therapy.
Are dermal fillers safe and reversible?
Dermal fillers have an excellent safety profile when administered by licensed professionals using FDA-approved products. Hyaluronic acid fillers are particularly safe because they naturally occur in your body and break down gradually. If unhappy with results, hyaluronic acid fillers can be partially dissolved using hyaluronidase.
Can dermal fillers look natural?
Yes, when administered by a skilled practitioner, fillers create natural-looking results that enhance your features without appearing overdone. The key is using appropriate volumes, proper placement, and respecting your facial proportions. Modern techniques focus on subtle enhancement rather than dramatic transformation.
What should I expect during a dermal filler appointment?
Your appointment begins with a consultation about your goals, followed by skin cleansing and optional topical anesthetic. Filler is carefully injected into targeted areas while assessing symmetry. The process typically takes 30 minutes to one hour. Initial results appear immediately, with full results after one week as swelling subsides.
Is there any downtime after dermal filler injections?
Dermal fillers have minimal downtime. You may experience mild swelling, redness, or slight bruising that typically resolves within 24 to 48 hours. Avoid strenuous exercise, excessive heat, and alcohol for 24 hours. Apply ice and ibuprofen as needed.
Which areas can be treated with dermal fillers?
Fillers treat nasolabial folds, marionette lines, cheeks, chin, under-eye hollows, lips, vertical lip lines, and the jawline. Your practitioner will assess your facial anatomy and goals to determine the best areas for treatment.
What are dermal fillers and how do they work?
Dermal fillers are injectable substances that restore lost volume, soften wrinkles, and enhance facial contours by plumping skin from beneath the surface. Most fillers use hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally found in skin that attracts moisture. Results are immediate and typically last 6 months to 2 years depending on the filler type.
