What it is
PRX-Plus is the enhanced formulation of PRX Derm Perfexion. It builds on the same TCA + hydrogen peroxide + kojic acid foundation but includes additional bioactive compounds that drive deeper stimulation and more pronounced skin tightening.
Think of it as the next step up from standard PRX. We recommend it for clients who’ve responded well to PRX and want more aggressive improvement, or for more advanced skin concerns from the start.
We perform PRX-Plus at our Cherry Creek studio at 36 Steele St, Suite 100, serving guests from across Denver - including nearby Cherry Creek North, Country Club, Congress Park, Belcaro, Hilltop, and Hale, as well as Capitol Hill, Washington Park, and the broader Denver metro. Most clients can reach us within a 10-minute drive. We're in Cherry Creek North on Steele Street, directly across from the Cherry Creek Shopping Center and walking distance to Fillmore Plaza.

What to expect
The process mirrors standard PRX: 30 to 45 minutes, topical application massaged firmly in multiple passes. The sensation is similar but may feel slightly more intense with the enhanced formulation. Still minimal to no visible peeling.
Protocol is typically 3 to 5 treatments, weekly or bi-weekly. Maintenance every 4 to 8 weeks. You can alternate between standard PRX and PRX-Plus across sessions depending on what your skin needs.

What does PRX-Plus feel like during treatment?
You'll feel a warm, fizzing sensation as the product is massaged into the skin - most patients actually find it pleasant. There's no stinging or burning like traditional chemical peels. The treatment takes about twenty to thirty minutes and requires no numbing beforehand.
Is PRX-Plus safe for all skin types?
PRX-Plus is safe for all skin types and tones because it doesn't cause surface peeling or inflammation that could trigger post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. This makes it one of the few intensive skin rejuvenation treatments that's truly inclusive across the Fitzpatrick scale.
How soon will I see results from PRX-Plus?
Many patients notice an immediate glow and improved skin texture right after treatment. The deeper collagen-stimulating effects develop over the following weeks, with progressive improvement after each session. Most patients see meaningful change in skin quality after three to four treatments.
Can PRX-Plus be combined with microneedling?
Combining PRX-Plus with microneedling is one of the most popular advanced protocols. The microchannels created by needling allow the PRX solution to penetrate more deeply, amplifying collagen stimulation significantly. This combination can be particularly effective for scarring and skin laxity.
What is the difference between PRX-Plus and PRX Derm Perfexion?
PRX-Plus builds on the original PRX Derm Perfexion formula with added active ingredients for enhanced results. It typically includes additional growth factors or peptides that amplify the collagen-stimulating effects, making it ideal for patients who want a more intensive treatment within the same no-downtime framework.
Is there any downtime with PRX-Plus?
No downtime, no peeling, and no recovery period required. You can resume normal activities and skincare immediately after treatment.
What results can I expect from PRX-Plus treatment?
